For the second week running, we featured events and performers at the Exeter Fringe Festival which runs until Saturday 2 July at venues around the city.

I spoke on the phone to Mab Jones who - together with Anthony Fairweather - is performing That's Easy For You To Say for the Exeter Fringe. Mab and Anthony are an inspirational pair of performers: both have worked - and are working - hard to overcome speech difficulties. Their shows are fast-paced and humorous and have stunned audiences across the UK. See them at The Rusty Bike in Exeter on 30 June, 1 July and 2 July at 18:00 each day.
Claire, Bronya and Anna are part of the Human Behaviour Theatre Company. They told us about their Fringe play Slug! - on at Exeter Phoenix on Friday 1 July at both 19:00 and 21:30. It's a bite-size comedy told on the ground and in the air! Riotously funny and visually stunning, it is suitable for adults and older children alike.
I spoke last week on the phone to Tai Lawrence who was in the studio today to talk about The Improsarios, Performances at Exeter Phoenix are, it seems, going extremely well. The highly skilled team of actors take the audience's suggestions to create a unique production and give people a sometimes comic, sometimes tragic and always entertaining theatrical performance. They have two more shows at 21:00 on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 July.
We heard too from Lucy Robinson about 50 Years of Amnesty International. She gave us information about the Exeter branch of Amnesty. Find out more on the Amnesty International and Amnesty Exeter websites.
Colin Rae leads the Big Noise Chorus and he told us all about an event in celebration of Amnesty International's 50 years. On Saturday 23 July from 19:30 there's a Summer Concert at the Riviera Centre in Torquay featuring the Big Noise Chorus and Stagecoach Theatre Arts, Torquay. It's an exciting and ambitious fundraising and awareness raising event with almost 400 performers! Full info here.

From Devon Dub to Dartmoor, Exeter Fringe to Exmouth Sit-down Sundays
Festivals on The Multifarious Mix today were featured alongside other events and relevant music. Great to have assistance from Nick Chowdrey
of Monkeys With Puns and
Joe Selman Leava of SourDough Theatre, both of whom spoke eloquently and authoratively about a number of events, some of which they are personally involved with.
Fantastic live music too from KAT With Attitude - Kat Jenkins and Jim Howden. Jim claims that Kat was "the star" and he just "plonked in the background". The first bit is fair enough as Kat sang beautifully with great sensitivity but Joe and I thought that his guitar contribution was much more than plonking - he's a superb guitarist. They gave us California Dreaming, Autumn Leaves and Walking After Midnight. See them at The Castle, Bradninch at 1pm this Saturday. This is but one event amongst many at Bradninch Festival this weekend.
Joe Selman Leva spoke to Cat Fairbrother and Dom Jinks about the play Blok/Eko which The Wrestling School in collaboration with the University of Exeter Drama Department and the Northcott Theatre is putting on at the theatre from 9 to 11 June.
The play has a cast of 110. It is wriiten by major writer of modern European theatre Howard Barker and explores power and sexuality with poetic and compelling language. Make your way to the Northcott for a very special performance.
It's too big a task to note all the info here but I'll list as many of the performers, festivals and events featured on the show as I can with links to websites:
